‘I WAS DEALING WITH DEMONS’ BRENDA JONS APOLOGIES FOR PROMOTING HOMOSEXUALITY

Popular content creator Brenda Jons has taken to her social media platforms to apologised for misleading her followers and fans.

In a candid post, Jons said she was dealing and struggling with worse demons and depression at the time, “Sometimes the Lord leads us to do some things that seem crazy,” she said. 

She admitted to promoting behaviours and activities that conflicted with her Christian values, including endorsing s*x toys, engaging in heavy partying, and other actions she now views as misaligned with her identity in Christ. “I was out here promoting s*x toys, homosexuality, alcohol, parting and drinking, dressing inappropriately. Chini ya maji I was dealing with worse demons that could not even let me stay at home because depression was killing me,” she revealed. 

Jons described battling depression, self-harm, and a loss of personal identity, all while maintaining an outward appearance of happiness on social media. “I was self harming, crying but I’d post the most happy pictures yet deep down I knew I didn’t belong. To anyone I misled, to many I had preached to and you lost your faith because I lost mine,to the many I misrepresented Christ to,I am truly sorry. I have dealt with the grief of sin and I am sorry” she said. 

She also opened up the transformative power of her encounter with Christ. “The question of identity is dangerous outside Christ because the world will tell you everything that you’re not, and one encounter with Jesus and He tells you who you are, ‘a son’. I’m already loved,I’m already chosen,I know who I am and I know what the Lord has spoken!” she wrote.
