OTILE BROWN EXPOSES BENSOUL & SAVARA’S PRIVATE APOLOGIES AFTER PUBLIC CRITICISM

The simmering tensions in Kenya’s music industry have boiled over once again, as Otile Brown publicly called out fellow artists Bensoul and Savara for what he describes as hypocritical behaviour criticising him publicly, then privately begging for forgiveness.

In an Instagram Story, Otile slammed the two artists for their alleged behind-the-scenes apologies.

Stop coming to my DMs to apologise later like Savara sending his people to beg on his behalf. And that other guy [Bensoul] of weed and avocado, I saw in an interview crying that I have forgiven him.”

Just weeks ago, Bensoul seemed ready to bury the hatchet. During an appearance on the Buzz Central Podcast, he stunned fans by declaring,” When I called Otile an overrated artist, we had beef but we’ve sorted it now. 100 percent, I’d do a song with him. It’ll be one big, beautiful Swahili anthem.”

The feud escalated early 2025 when Savara and Bensoul critiqued Otile on Stephanie Nganga’s podcast, saying he is the most overrated artiste, “Otile Brown, I feel like his technique doesn’t work even his stage performance,” said Bensoul.
