Nyashinski has announced his highly anticipated sophomore album, Yariasu, set for release on September 19th. The announcement comes with the debut of the project’s second single, P.I.C (Partner In Crime), which also initiates the album’s pre-order phase.

This new chapter builds upon the legacy of his debut album, Lucky You (2020). Released during the COVID-19 pandemic, the critically acclaimed, feature-less project provided a soundtrack of resilience and hope, solidifying Nyashinski’s status as an artist of cultural depth and mass appeal.

The track “P.I.C (Partner In Crime)” is a love anthem crafted with smooth melodies and heartfelt lyricism. It embodies Nyashinski’s signature style of storytelling and emotional connection, while its opening line, “I always knew East Africa would be on top of the world” boldly shows his global ambitions central to the upcoming album.

Speaking on the release, Nyashinski says, “My fans have been patiently waiting for new music, and with this album I wanted to give them more than just songs. I wanted to give them a vision.”

Christine ‘Seven’ Mosha, Head of Sony Music Eastern Africa, adds, “Nyashinski is an artist who represents the very best of East African music, authentic, innovative, and globally resonant. With ‘Yariasu’, he builds on the foundation laid by Lucky You and positions himself as a cultural ambassador for the region.”
