RADIO JAMBO PRESENTER LION DEH SHARES CAUSE OF SON’S DEATH

Radio Jambo presenter Lion Deh has opened up about the sudden loss of his young son earlier this year. 

Speaking on Oga Obinna’s show, he recounted the incident that occurred on January 2nd of this year. His son, a one-year and four-month-old boy, was playing indoors with his sisters when he fell from a couch, hitting his head.

“I rushed him to the hospital,” Lion disclosed. “I was told he had a haemorrhage in the head and they had to do an operation.” Despite the medical team’s best efforts, the injury led to brain swelling. The child was declared brain dead.

He reflected on the cruel timing of the event, happening just two days after the family had celebrated the New Year. “January 31st we celebrated the New Year with fireworks, on the 2nd the sisters were watching TV and he fell,” he stated. “It’s just life.”
