Popular Kenyan digital content creator and media personality Azziad Nasenya has sarcastically, addressed online reports concerning the impending auction of her Kileleshwa home

Instead of a formal statement, Nasenya responded to fans’ demands for information with a video of herself literally making a cup of tea. This comes after a public auction notice was published, stating that her four-bedroom apartment in the upscale Platinum Oak Residency is set to be sold by Okuku Agencies on October 8, 2025, over an alleged default on a mortgage

The property, valued in the multi-million-shilling range, has been listed as “owner-occupied.” In a post on her social media channels, Nasenya acknowledged the swirling rumours, saying, “If there is one thing I respect is my online friends… and one thing I have been seeing this afternoon… is that you want tea, and we are going to make that.” She then proceeded to brew tea, playing on the slang term “tea,” which means gossip or news. The video was captioned, “I am a Luhya, I love tea.”

The auction notice describes the property as a 4-bedroom en-suite apartment with a servant’s quarter, measuring approximately 256 square meters. Interested bidders are required to make a Sh100,000 refundable deposit to participate, with the winning bidder expected to pay a 10% deposit immediately and the balance within 90 days. The public auction is scheduled to take place at the Jeevan Bharati Building in Nairobi.
