SAUTI SOL’S CHIMANO TO LAUNCH BOOK HEAVY IS THE CROWN

Sauti Sol’s celebrated vocalist and style icon, Chimano, is set to unveil his highly anticipated first book, Heavy Is The Crown. 

Described as Part Memoir, Part Manifesto, All Heart, the book promises an intimate journey into Chimano’s life. The musician who is concurrently preparing for a return run of his live show in Australia this March, offered insight into the book’s essence. “Last year I told my story. This year, I’m telling it again deeper,” he shared. 

“‘Heavy Is The Crown’ is about becoming, about the dreams that lift us, the burdens that shape us, and the grace we find in between. It is raw, honest, tender, and powerful.”

The artist will first bring this powerful introspection home for a special fan launch event in Kenya, details of which will be announced shortly. Immediately following, he will take the evolved stage show, now enriched by the book’s themes, back to an international audience.

The show is scheduled for a limited engagement at QTOPIA Sydney’s The Loading Dock from March 24th to 28th, 2026.
