VERA SIDIKA CALLS OUT EX-FRIENDS FOR CLOUT-CHASING WITH OLD VIDEOS
Socialite Vera Sidika has issued a warning to former friends, calling for an end to the use of outdated photos and videos to falsely imply a current connection.
In a video message, Sidika addressed what she termed “recycling ancient memories” for clout, distancing herself from individuals stuck in her throwback era. She said that the privilege of association does not extend to past relationships that have since ended. “If we used to be besties in 2025 and we are no longer friends, please stop posting videos from two years ago, you’re recycling content from I don’t know what decade,” Sidika stated.
“Could you just stop? There’s this person that we used to be friends with. We haven’t been friends for like, eight months, and they’re still posting old videos of us to make it look like we are still friends.”
Sidika made it clear that this behaviour is a deliberate attempt to ride on her current fame and relevance. “I know it’s a privilege to be associated with me, but please, we are not friends. Stop posting videos of us to make it look like we’re still cool. We’re not okay,” she asserted.
She concluded with a statement, “I have not talked to this person for like eight months. This year, I don’t want to see no damn videos on your page. 2026 is about new rules.”
