ACTOR MALIK LEMMY TO BUILD KENYA’S FIRST CONTENT HOUSE
Kenyan actor Malik Lemmy, best known for his iconic role as Govi in the TV series Machachari, has announced his participation in an ambitious new venture aimed at transforming the country’s creative landscape.
Lemmy is joining forces with a team of innovators to build Kenya’s first content house, a move set to elevate the local content creation scene to unprecedented heights.
The announcement comes as Lemmy celebrates over two decades in the entertainment industry, having started his career at just five years old.
From his early days in Makutano Junction to his acclaimed performance in Showmax’s crime drama Pepeta, Lemmy has consistently evolved as a performer. Now, he is channeling his experience into nurturing the next generation of digital talent.
“Time to raise the Kenyan content creation scene higher!!! We’re Building Kenya’s First Major Content House! Are you ready to become part of the next big thing in African content creation?” He said.
The concept is inspired by global groups like FaZe Clan, AMP and Clover, “We’re creating a 3-5 person content house right here in Kenya where creators live, stream, collaborate, and build something epic together. If you think you’ve got what it takes to be part of the FIRST content house to take over East Africa, we want to see you shine.”
Selected creators will benefit from an all-expenses-paid opportunity, including: Full-time residency in a dedicated creator house with room, meals, and production gear provided. Exclusive brand deals and partnerships to monetise their content. Personal brand growth while contributing to dynamic group content. A chance to be part of the first Kenyan content house with global ambitions.
