MrBeast Visits Miss Trudy’s Lamu Restaurant 

American YouTube megastar MrBeast made a surprise visit to Lamu Restaurant, the popular dining spot co-founded by Kenyan creator Miss Trudy and her husband, Ghanaian YouTuber Wode Maya, during his latest humanitarian trip to Ghana.

The visit, which took place amid Mr Beast’s high-profile philanthropic work in the country, was described by the hosts as a moment of deep gratitude and honour. Miss Trudy shared her appreciation on social media following the visit. “Blessed and grateful to host @mrbeast in our restaurant @lamurestaurant in Ghana,” Miss Trudy wrote. “His humility and kindness made the day unforgettable.”

Wode Maya echoed his wife’s sentiments, describing the experience as a privilege. “It was an absolute honour to host @mrbeast and 20 other amazing creators in Ghana,” he said. “What an incredible experience!“

The gathering brought together MrBeast and a select group of international content creators who had traveled to Ghana as part of the “1 Billion Acts of Kindness” campaign, a global humanitarian initiative launched in January 2026 in partnership with the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, and the Varkey Foundation. The campaign aims to harness the influence of digital creators to drive positive action in communities worldwide, with Ghana serving as the flagship project location.
