‘I HAVE SEEN IT ALL THIS YEAR’ DADDY OWEN ON HOW HIS MOTHER HELPED HIM RECOVER FROM COVID-19

Celebrated gospel singer Owen Mwatia, alias Daddy Owen has disclosed how he recovered from covid-19. The singer said he went for a covid-19 test after feeling tired and having a weird taste in his mouth.

One day after a very early morning work-out I felt weirdly tired. The first thing I decided to do was to get some good sleep, when I woke up later I felt some weird test in my mouth and immediately I knew it, this is covid. Then when I went for the test I remember I was talking to the doctor and straight away I told him I have covid even before the results came out,” he wrote.

Following his diagnosis, Daddy Owen said he tried not to stress his mind, maintain a proper diet and pray for healing. “One thing I decided during this time is to not stress my mind and body, try eat well (this is a myth during this time) and just keep my focus on God for healing,” he added.

Getting into isolation was hard but he made through it with the help of his mother. “Few days in after I started my self isolation I remember calling my mum telling her how hard it is for me just to sit and wait for the 14 days to be over without going to work and she replied and told me, ‘count yourself blessed, others are in hospital right now and they don’t know if they’ll make it’. That was the moment I started to look at life differently,” said Daddy Owen

Despite the hardship, the singer managed to get through the isolation period. “New curveball every season, I have seen it all this year! but through and through I still believe that my God has greater plans for me. Glory and honour to Jesus christ for my healing. Finally, I’m fine and going back to work,” he concluded.
