‘THE MOST IMMORAL PEOPLE IN KENYA ARE GOSPEL ARTISTES’ SAYS ERIC OMONDI

By  |

Comedian Eric Omondi has called out gospel musicians for failing Kenyans with their immoral behaviour.

Speaking in a video seen by Buzz Central, Omondi said gospel musicians have ditched ministry to pursue other things, “The gospel industry was the identity of Kenyan music, but they have fallen. The industry has failed us. I remember the days when Groove Awards was the biggest awards in East and Central Africa. The next thing I had was DK had gonorrhoea and Willy Paul was leaving the industry. They have more scandals than the secular industry.”

He went on to add that the church has also let down Kenyans, “Mercy Masika I grew up with you and ministered with you in Daystar. You used to sing and the spirit of God would come down and people would get saved. We have lost our touch with God and the church has let down Kenyans. The most immoral people in Kenya are former gospel artistes. Return to God! You’ve turned Kenya into Sodom and Gomorrah.”
