ALEX MWAKIDEU EXPLAINS WHY THE CONSTRUCTION OF HIS HOUSE IS ON HOLD

Milele FM radio presenter Alex Mwakideu has explained the stalemate of his project with his Kiss FM counterpart, Jalang’o on Jenga Na Alex Na Jalas. Speaking with Buzz Central, Mwakideu stated that they had to stop the project over a confusion by the company that sold them their pieces of land. 

“The plan was to launch the houses in December but again there is a plot in between us which we must get. We told our network sacco at Standard Media Group that we wanted plots that are next to each other and that was the plan. We bought the plots like seven or eight years ago, I also introduced my brother, Justus Mwakideu, to the sacco. He bought the plot as well but now these guys put Jalang’o and Justus Mwakideu next to each other,” Mwakideu said. 

As a result, Mwakideu and Jalang’o will have to buy the plot in between in order to continue developing the land. “So there is Justus next to Jalang’o, a plot in between and then mine, we already have title deeds and we cannot just switch the plots. The person who owns the plot in between, we want to buy her off. So we can fence the entire space. Currently, we cannot continue with the project because the next things we are going to put on the projects are things that can be easily stolen without the fence. We can’t put anything else until we fence the entire project.
