OGA OBINNA OPENS UP ON HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS DAD AND THREE BABY MAMAS

Comedian and radio presenter Oga Obinna has opened up on his childhood life and his relationship with his luo dad. Speaking on Bonga na Jalas, the comedian disclosed that they relocated from Nigeria while he was still a kid and settled in Maseno, Kisumu County. 

Obinna said he did not see eye to eye with his dad, and he would beat him up from time to time unlike his elder brother who was his dad’s favourite. “My dad and I are not close but we had closure about two months ago and we are now good. I can now open up to him like, ‘listen you were never in my life and we are not friends’. Every time we would meet, a slap would land somewhere, I used to be so nervous when I’m taking tea to him. I never understood why my dad would enter the house and everyone would scatter,” he said. 

The radio presenter also said in form three, he fell out with his dad and relocated to the city where he stayed with his relative before he was kicked out. Without anywhere to sleep, Obinna became a street boy who depended on friends and people he knew for survival but continued with school.

While in school, he was introduced to his first baby mama who got pregnant when Obinna was employed as a store manager. “After falling out with my relative, I had a best friend called Dalmas, he used to take me to their place for lunch so when I went there I met a very beautiful girl, Immaculate. I got my first job as an office messenger and I started hanging out with her and everyone around me was advising me to marry. She used to come on the weekends and she got pregnant with my firstborn,” he said. 

Obinna landed a gig at a local nightclub where he met his second baby mama, they started dating but broke up and later she got pregnant when he was consulting her after losing her job. “She had come as a client to watch the show every Sunday. We started vibing and we became close friends. She used to live in Ngara so after the show I would go to her place. After sometime we broke up, we didn’t speak for a while and then she lost her job and she called me crying. When I went to comfort her, my second born happened,” he recalled. 

Obinna said his third baby mama got pregnant after making a joke and they separated over irreconcilable differences. “My third baby mama, we had started vibing and after some time she moved in, I pulled a wrong joke, we had been together for a while then I told her, ‘you know we have been together for a while but you’ve never gotten pregnant, are you okay?’ Before I told her it was a joke, she had gotten pregnant. After some time we started having issues and I left her in the house with everything inside,” he stated. 

He disclosed that he had his last born daughter with his second baby mama, “My daughter started going to school and I used to drop her in school the go back to work, she would come back from school ask me why I’m not around, she would throw tantrums and I had to go see her and that is how my last born was consummated,” Obinna said.
