‘SHOULD I BUY A CAR OR DIAPERS?’ NAMELESS CELEBRATES DAUGHTER’S 16TH BIRTHDAY
Celebrated musicians Nameless and Wahu’s eldest daughter, Tumiso Mathenge has turned 16.
The couple took to their respective accounts to wish their daughter a happy birthday. Wahu recounted the day she gave birth to her, “In the early hours of 1st of August 2006, I held you in my arms for the very first time tears flowed freely as I examined every inch of the little person who had been forming in me for 9 exciting months. I genuinely can’t describe that moment.”
Nameless did not know what gift to get her for the birthday, “You’re saying I buy her a car? Is it diapers I should buy or a car? A man can only do so much. Maybe I will buy her sneakers. Stop this social media pressure!” and then went ahead to ask people what he should get her “Aunties and uncles, any advice what I should get her from America?”
This came hours after he posted a heartfelt message describing Tumiso as his pride and joy, “My first born, my mental twin! My princess, my pride and Joy! You’re turning 16 today and I just can’t keep calm. You have made me understand purpose like no other. You have helped me evolve and I am happy and blessed to witness the lady you’re turning out to be.
A Wise, compassionate and independent spirit! Happy sweet sixteen Tumi. I am excited for your future self! You are a blessed Soul. May you continue to spread love and light to the world,“ he wrote.
