CS ABABU NAMWAMBA PAYS TRIBUTE TO NJAMBI KOIKAI

Cabinet Secretary ministry of youth affairs creative economy and sports Ababu Namwamba joined family, friends, and creatives  at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi to mourn the passing of Njambi Koikai, popularly known as Fyah Mummah.

In a statement on his X account, Ababu said, “Joined family, friends and creatives at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi to pay respects to Njambi Koikai aka Fyah Mummah, a brilliant young Kenyan reggae MC and radio host who succumbed to a long battle with endometriosis. Rest well warrior! May the Good Lord light your path eternal.”

The prominent Kenyan reggae MC and radio host succumbed to a long battle with endometriosis on June 4, 2024, while undergoing treatment at Nairobi Hospital.

CS Ababu  eulogized Njambi as not only a cherished figure in the entertainment industry but also as a passionate human rights activist. “Njambi was a beacon of hope and equity, tirelessly advocating for fairness in our society. Her dedication to justice and equity is a passion we shared,” CS Ababu remarked.
