MR. LENNY APPEALS FOR SUPPORT TO SETTLE LATE FATHER’S HOSPITAL BILLS

Kenyan musician Mr. Lenny is reaching out to the public for support following the tragic loss of his father, who passed away on  September 29, 2024, after battling multiple health complications.

In an emotional statement, Mr. Lenny shared details of his father’s deteriorating health over the past year, leading up to his passing due to organ failure. “Our dad has been unwell for the better part of this year, struggling with schizophrenia, high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney failure, and an enlarged prostate,” Mr. Lenny wrote. 

“He also suffered a stroke a few years back. However, two months ago, he had a severe heart attack and was admitted to the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) private wing.” 

Despite initial signs of recovery following his first hospital stay, his father was readmitted just four days after discharge due to low blood pressure. “Both times, we almost lost him,” he revealed.

Unfortunately, the second admission ended tragically, and Mr. Lenny’s father passed away at 7 a.m. on September 29, 2024, due to organ failure.

The musician is appealing for assistance to settle the outstanding hospital bills and cover the costs of a dignified send-off for his father, whose body remains at KNH mortuary. “We kindly request your support to help us raise funds to offset the hospital bill and give him a decent send-off. Thank you for your prayers and support.”
