‘PROBLEM IS MEN’ VICTORIA KIMANI REVEALS WHY SHE’S SINGLE

Musician Victoria Kimani has revealed the reason why she is single and  the complexities of modern relationships. 

Speaking to Oga Obinna in a recent interview, she acknowledged her own shortcomings. “Since 2021 I have been single. I think it is the men of this generation. I can take accountability for my own faults. But 95 percent is because of men,” she explained. “These days, you men want multiple women. You want to have, you know, several wives and girlfriends. Now, they just tell you on the first date: ‘Nice to meet you, you look nice. By the way, you’re not the only one.'” 

Kimani went on to reference the Bible, suggesting that the current dynamics might be signs of the end times. “Even in Revelation, it says towards the end times, men will be lovers of themselves. That’s why I’m single, because I don’t want to fight.” 

On the kind of man she is looking for, she said, “God fearing, handsome, taller than me, nice teeth, a gentleman, someone who spoils me because I will spoil my man.”

In August 2021, the  singer dismissed claims that she is dating Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie. Through her Twitter page, the singer asked social media users to stop addressing her as Sarkodie’s wife, noting that he is a married man and people should respect his marriage. “Why y’all keep calling me Sark’s wife? That’s a whole married man, have a little respect,” Victoria wrote. 

In a separate tweet, Victoria wondered why when a female artiste works with her male counterpart they must be interpreted as they are dating. “Is it an African thing? Girl works with a guy, people interpret that as ‘they must be dating’ when there’s a lot to unpack there,” she wrote.
