‘I MISS YOU’ ACTRESS CHANTELE MARKS LATE SON KYLE’S BIRTHDAY
Actress and musician Chantelle Naisola marked her late son Kyle’s birthday with an emotional tribute on social media. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she shared a touching message alongside a photo, “Happy heavenly birthday my darling angel. I miss you so much.”
In a recent interview with CTA, her former partner, renowned music producer Jibril Blessing, popularly known as J Blessing, addressed the tragic loss of their son and dispelled persistent rumours about the circumstances surrounding his death. “At that time, I was going through so much, traveling in and out of the country. I wasn’t present during the pregnancy as much as I should have been. But when I was home, I cherished every moment I had with my son.”
J Blessing recounted the financial and emotional challenges he faced while trying to provide for his family. After a failed business deal in Uganda left him stranded, he relied on the generosity of Ugandan artist Cindy Sanyu, who covered his hotel expenses. Upon returning to Kenya, J Blessing faced further difficulties, including complications following Kyle’s routine immunisation.
His son’s condition worsened, “At Aga Khan, I told the doctors, ‘I know my God, and this kid is going to be okay.’ But their advice was to take him to India. I didn’t have the money, so I turned to prayer.”
Tragically, Kyle passed away despite efforts to save him. Veteran music producer Robert Kamanzi (R Kay), generously settled the hospital bill of over Sh 1 million and arranged for Kyle’s burial. “I don’t know what R Kay did, but he cleared everything, even my son’s burial.”
