SPANISH CLUB CELTA VIGO CONFIRMS SIGNING KENYAN FOOTBALLER ALDRINE KIBET ON FOUR-YEAR DEAL
Spanish La Liga side RC Celta Vigo has officially announced the signing of Kenyan rising star Aldrine Kibet on a four-year contract running until 2029. The club confirmed the transfer through its official communication platforms.
In a statement welcoming the new signing, the club wrote, “Aldrine Kibet, sky blue until 2029! The Kenyan forward joins the Canteira Celeste for the next four seasons. This is your home, Aldrine!”

Kibet will initially join Celta Fortuna, the club’s reserve team, where he will be registered as a youth player as part of a long-term plan to transition him into the senior squad.

Kibet’s football career took off at St. Anthony’s Boys High School in Kitale, where he led his team to victory at the 2023 KSSSA National Championships. His exceptional performance earned him MVP honors, along with 25 goals and 27 assists, cementing his reputation as one of Kenya’s most promising football talents.
