‘KEEP MY NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH’ MICHAEL OLUNGA CLAPS BACK AT ONLINE TROLL

Kenyan football star and Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga has clapped back at an online troll who attempted to discredit his contributions to the national team.

The Al-Arabi player took to social media to address a user named George Diano, who insinuated that the national team performs better without Olunga’s presence prompting him to respond, “Keep my name out of your mouth. Mr. Alafu hata uniangalie vibaya, bado utaniona tu vizuri.” (Even if you look at me in a bad way, you’ll still see me.)

Olunga’s clapback comes just days after he publicly rallied behind Kenya’s local-based players competing in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2025 on home soil. “I know you guys are well prepared and motivated, starting from the players and technical bench,” Olunga said in a pre-match message.

His words proved prophetic as Kenya made history with a stunning 1-0 victory over two-time champions DR Congo in their CHAN debut at Nairobi’s Kasarani Stadium.
