ZUCHU DISMISSES CLAIMS THAT DIAMOND PLATNUMZ WAS DROPPED BY PEPSI 

Bongo Flava artiste Zuchu has dismissed the rumours circulating online that Diamond Platnumz was dropped by global beverage giant, Pepsi.

The rumours began trending after Diamond deleted his social media content, which the public linked to his recent association with Tanzania’s ruling party, CCM, and President Samia Suluhu Hassan. However, Zuchu has labeled these claims as false.

In a response to a post on X, Zuchu stated, “Fake news. Pepsi did not drop him, he is still very much their ambassador.” Platnumz Instagram profile, a primary platform for his public engagements, saw the removal of videos showcasing his performances at the President’s campaign rallies and official CCM functions. His digital purge led to a public reaction, with thousands of followers unfollowing the artist.
