‘SH1 MILLION PER DAY’ PASTOR KANYARI REVEALS SHOCKING SCALE OF 310 PRAYERS EARNINGS

Controversial preacher Victor Kanyari has disclosed the personal profit he generated from his now-infamous 310 Prayers scheme. Kanyari claimed the initiative earned him approximately KSh1 million daily over a four-year period.

This figure, when calculated, amounts to an estimated KSh30 million per month and a staggering total sum of nearly KSh 1.5 billion over the four years. The 310 Prayers involved asking followers to send KSh 310 for special intercessory prayers, a practice later widely exposed as a scam that exploited the faithful.

“Sh310 was a lot because per day I would make about Sh1 million,” Kanyari stated in the interview. “You can imagine for 30 days that’s Sh30 million… Sh310 was a small amount of money. Even if right now I say people should remove 30 shillings, they should not get mad because it is like buying me tea and mandazi.”

These remarks have sparked renewed public outrage and debate, Kanyari’s candid admission is seen by many as a jarring confirmation of the scheme’s profitability at the expense of his followers.
