PAULINE NJOROGE ANNOUNCES BID FOR NAIROBI GOVERNOR SEAT

Pauline Njoroge, the Deputy Organising Secretary of the Jubilee Party, has entered the race for Nairobi County’s top office, declaring her intention to run for Governor.

Njoroge announced on Wednesday that she has begun a series of grassroots tours across Nairobi to engage directly with residents and understand their needs as she prepares to formally launch her campaign.

Too often, we as leaders assume we know what the people want. Yet frequently, we end up operating at cross-purposes with the very citizens who elected us, leading to disappointment as priorities change, benefits are redirected, and essential services are denied,” she stated.

Positioning herself as a challenger to the incumbent Governor Johnson Sakaja of the UDA party, Njoroge pledged to bring a leadership style focused squarely on the people. “As I present myself for leadership in Nairobi County under a new deal for the city, my principles are anchored in people-centred, service-delivery focused governance. It is a leadership that will restore dignity to our residents and place their daily needs and realities at the heart of decision-making,” she said. The Jubilee official made these remarks during a recent event at Kasarani and Roysambu constituencies.

Pauline now joins a growing list of aspirants who have publicly declared their aim to unseat Governor Sakaja. This list includes Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Makadara MP George Aladwa, Embakasi Central MP James Gakuya, and businesswoman Agnes Kagure among others.
