Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis Found Guilty in Tupac Shakur’s Murder

A man has finally been found guilty of killing rapper Tupac Shakur, almost 30 years after his death.

Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis was convicted of murder for the 1996 drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. The case had gone unsolved for years, with no arrests until Davis was charged in 2023.

The trial focused on a memoir Davis wrote in 2019. In the book, he admitted to giving the gun used in the shooting. His lawyers said it was just a story to sell books, but the jury found him guilty.

Davis had earlier spoken about the crime in public. He said he was in the car and passed the gun to others in the backseat. He also said the shooting was revenge for an attack on his nephew. Davis is the last living person among the four men believed to have been in the Cadillac.
