President William Ruto has nominated former Starehe MP, Charles Njagua Kanyi, popularly known as Jaguar, as a Member of the Commission for Administrative Justice (CAJ).

Jaguar’s nomination is part of President Ruto’s latest appointments aimed at filling vacant positions in Constitutional Commissions and other key State Agencies.

Mr. Sammy Chepkowny is nominated as the chairperson for Salaries and Remuneration Commission. While Charles Njagua Kanyi (Jaguar) and Ms. Dorothy Jemator Kimengich are nominated as members.

In March 2023, the musician was nominated as the Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of Youth Affairs, the Arts and Sports. But the High Court dismissed the appointment of 50 Chief Administrative Secretaries (CASs) by President William Ruto as unconstitutional.
