VOLLEYBALL STAR JANET WANJA DIAGNOSED WITH GALLBLADDER CANCER

Former Kenyan volleyball player Janet Wanja, who previously played for the Malkia Strikers and Kenya Pipeline, has been unwell for the past four months. 

Wanja, who recently served as the Malkia Strikers trainer during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, has been diagnosed with gallbladder cancer and is currently undergoing treatment in Nairobi. 

Speaking on behalf of the family, her brother, Kevin Kimani, stated, “On behalf of the family, we humbly request for your emotional support during this  difficult time even as we pray for her quick recovery. We shall give you further updates on her progress.”
