ACTRESS BARBARA ‘WARIDI’ CHEPKOECH MOURNS THE TRAGIC LOSS OF HER SON

The family of renowned Kenyan actress Barbara Chepkoech Adams, popularly known as Waridi, is mourning the sudden passing of her son, Blade Prince Adams. 

The vibrant nine-year-old boy tragically left us on October 11, 2025. Blade, who was born on November 20, 2015, was laid to rest in Iowa, USA, on Monday, October 27, 2025. 

“These past few weeks have flown by so fast for many of us, but have gone excruciatingly slowly for my baby Barbara and her family. Every single waking day feels like a bad dream. Barbara who is otherwise the most bubbly niece I have, haven’t been able to put to words what the days proceeding Bladey’s demise have been like in her world. When I really press her to use her words, she has only managed to say ” Aunty I am sad” or “Aunty I am broken”. Other times, “my big boy”.” Shared Barbara’s aunty Beryl Otumba.

Blade is survived by his heartbroken mother, Barbara, and his three sisters, Barjoh, Blossom (his twin), and Bailey.
