ESTHER PASSARIS ENDORSES KAREN NYAMU FOR NAIROBI WOMAN REP IN 2027 

Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has publicly endorsed nominated Senator Karen Nyamu as her preferred successor for the 2027 General Election.

The endorsement was made during a public event where Passaris championed Nyamu’s candidacy. Passaris confirmed she will not be seeking re-election for the seat after serving two terms, stating it is time to “look for something else to do.”

In a message to the Senator, Passaris stated, “Karen is not bold enough so I’m going to do this for her… Karen, don’t come here and say, ‘I’m thinking.’ No, you want to run. In 2027 we need to remove you from your nominated post of senator. I wish you all the best now, Karen.”

Passaris also acknowledged other potential female contenders, welcoming the competition with the phrase, “The more the merrier,” while making it clear that her endorsement is behind Nyamu.
