OBINNA IS RUTO’S PUPPET SAYS DJ KROWBAR

Gospel entertainer DJ Krowbar has ignited a fresh firestorm on social media, publicly branding media personality Oga Obinna a “puppet” of Ruto.

In a blunt post on X (formerly Twitter), DJ Crowbar wrote, “Obinna is a Ruto puppet! I said what I said.” The statement, which has since gone viral, comes amid growing political undertones surrounding the entertainment industry and follows a series of high-profile interactions between the President and figures from the creative.

The explosive outburst came after Obinna, who was the organiser of the publicised boxing showdown, made an announcement that he will be taking Majembe and Mbavu Destroyer to meet the president.  “When I take Majembe and Mbavu Destroyer to State House, do not politicise it,” Obinna said.

Adding, “Ruto called me and congratulated us on the Majembe vs Mbavu Destroyer fight. When I take the boxers to State House, please Kenyans, do not politicise it. I know you. Do not block these people’s blessings.“

President Ruto offered support for the Majembe vs Mbavu Destroyer boxing event, fulfilling a KSh 4 million pledge toward the bout. The contribution was delivered through Lang’ata Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o.
