MBAVU DESTROYER WITHDRAWS LAWSUIT AGAINST MAJEMBE & OGA OBINNA

Ferdinand Omondi, popularly known as Mbavu Destroyer, has withdrawn the lawsuit he filed against Portifas Odipo aka Majembe and Steve Thompson Maghana also known as Oga Obinna.

According to a Notice of Withdrawal of Suit filed before the Sports Disputes Tribunal at Nairobi under Case No. E021 of 2026, the Claimant has withdrawn the claim against all Respondents and the Interested Party “with immediate effect and without any conditions whatsoever.“

The notice, dated April 15, 2026, and filed by the law firm Dennis & Associates on behalf of Mbavu, directs the Tribunal to mark the matter as closed. No further reasons for the withdrawal were provided in the notice. The case had been pending before the Tribunal. With this unconditional withdrawal, the legal dispute comes to an end.
