Alex Mwakideu Warns Married Men Against Couples Retreats

Popular radio personality Alex Mwakideu, has caused a stir online after sharing unconventional marriage advice with his followers.

In a recent video, Mwakideu talk about the rising number of marriages breaking down across the country. Determined to make a difference, he announced his commitment to regularly sharing marriage tips based on his personal experience.

In his first piece of advice, Mwakideu delivered a surprising warning to married men: to avoid couples retreats at all costs. “For the years I have been married, I have never gone to a couples retreat. Never do it,” Mwakideu stated emphatically.

Explaining that these retreats often come with unexpected financial burdens that can strain a marriage rather than strengthen it. “Before you know it, you are contributing for champagne. Yet I didn’t have budget for it. You Fuliza, you get home, you don’t have money, and start having cases,” he warned. “Do not dare go to a couples retreat.”
