Ronald Karauri Promises to Hire Mosiria if Elected Nairobi Governor in 2027
Kasarani Member of Parliament Ronald Karauri has publicly promised to offer employment to embattled former Nairobi County Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, Mosiria, should he succeed in his bid for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat in 2027.
The pledge was made via a post on X (formerly Twitter), where Karauri weighed in on the recent dismissal of Mosiria, who was relieved of his duties by Governor Johnson Sakaja.
In his post, Karauri criticised the circumstances surrounding Mosiria’s exit: “Imagine being the Chief Officer wa Public Participation, then unafutwa kazi kwa ku-participate. Fisi akitaka kula watoto wake, kwanza huwasingizia wananuka mbuzi.”
The MP then offered a message of reassurance to Mosiria, writing: “Mosiria, usijali bro, 2027 nikiingia City Hall kama Governor wa Nairobi, nitakuandikia kazi. Kazi ya kweli, sio ile ya kukaa ofisi bila responsibilities since 2023.”
Mosiria has not publicly responded to Karauri’s offer.
