Renowned media personality Janet Mbugua is making a return to NTV, this time with her very own health-focused show, Healthy Nation.

The announcement comes just months after Mbugua stepped down from her role as co-host of NTV’s morning show “Fixing the Nation” in April 2026, where she departed after a little over a year on the program.

Taking to her social media platforms, Mbugua shared her excitement about the new show, revealing that health has been at the centre of her work for the past decade.

She wrote, “Over the last decade, the work I’ve been most passionate about has orbited health menstrual health, reproductive rights, mental health, the conversations that don’t always make the headlines but shape all of our lives. I’ve been sharing that on my digital platforms and I’ll keep doing that.

In her announcement, Mbugua said, “Starting this Sunday I’m bringing it to the mainstream. Healthy Nation, NTV, Sundays at 6PM to 7PM. Real stories, real questions, real accountability. It’s time!”

The show is expected to cover a wide range of health topics, including menstrual health, reproductive rights, mental health, and other issues that are often overlooked in mainstream media.
