Streamer Vindee Thanks Mike Sonko For Bailing Him Out
Popular Kenyan streamer Vindee has thanked former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, days after being released from custody following his arrest during the June 25 Gen Z demonstrations.
The content creator, who was apprehended during the protests that swept across the country, took to his live stream to finally thank Sonko for coming to his aid and securing his freedom.
During a phone call on his stream, an emotional Vindee said, “I want to say thank you for bailing me out in Milimani. If you need me any time, I will be there.”
Vindee was released from custody two days ago, immediately after his release, Vindee had taken to social media to confirm his freedom, writing, “No charges, no case. Thank you to everyone who stood by me. Truth always finds its way.“
