Samsung Electronics has officially launched its 2026 television collection in Kenya, headlined by the introduction of its new Mini LED range.

This latest release brings the brand’s cutting-edge display technologies directly to local consumers, focusing on elevated brightness, enhanced color accuracy, expansive screen sizes and AI-driven smart features. The lineup is tailored to elevate home entertainment, whether for cinematic movies, live sports, or high-energy gaming.

This new series represents Samsung’s ongoing commitment to redefining the premium home viewing experience. At the heart of the Mini LED TVs is Samsung’s Vision AI Companion, which works in tandem with advanced audio-visual technologies to curate a more intuitive and customised user experience.

Notable enhancements include the AI Soccer Mode, which fine-tunes visuals and audio for a more realistic stadium feel, and the Motion Xcelerator 144Hz feature, which virtually eliminates blur to ensure rapid-action sequences remain crisp and fluid.

The unveiling coincides with Samsung’s celebration of two decades as the world’s top-selling TV manufacturer. This 20-year reign has been built upon relentless progress in screen innovation, smart functionality, and premium aesthetics. Over this period, the company has revolutionised television viewing through breakthroughs like Quantum Dot technology, Neo QLED displays, and the integration of Vision AI and Knox security.

Today, Samsung is further broadening its AI-enhanced ecosystem, ensuring that superior entertainment is available across various sizes and price points. The 2026 Mini LED lineup leverages microscopic LED lights to achieve ultra-precise light control, producing vivid highlights, true-to-life blacks, and striking contrast.

This hardware is paired with real-time, AI-driven picture optimisation that automatically adjusts settings to deliver sharper and more natural images. Available in the M80H and M70H series, this new range provides wider access to Samsung’s state-of-the-art Mini LED capabilities.

A standout feature of the new TVs is the interactive Vision AI Companion, which transforms the screen into a responsive information hub. Users can now ask questions directly and receive instant answers, turning the television into a smart assistant for content discovery. For football fans, the dedicated AI Soccer Mode detects matches and boosts audio-visual performance to mimic the excitement of being pitch-side.

Combined with the fluid motion of Motion Xcelerator 144Hz, viewers can enjoy adrenaline-filled sports and action films without motion distortion. “Our 2026 TV lineup brings together larger screens, AI-powered intelligence and breakthrough display technologies to create more immersive and personalised viewing experiences,” stated Sam Odhiambo, Head of Consumer Electronics Business Kenya. “For 20 years, Samsung has led the global TV market by continuously innovating to meet the changing needs of consumers.”

Samsung Electronics confirmed plans to further expand its high-end offerings in Kenya with the release of the next-generation Micro RGB TV this September. This upcoming model promises to deliver unrivalled cooler precision, brightness, and image detail, setting a new benchmark for premium home cinema.
