‘STOP ASSUMING MY SEXUALITY’ SAYS KINUTHIA
Popular Tik Tok star Kinuthia has urged people to stop assuming his sexuality. Speaking in an interview, Kinuthia said he has never spoken publicly about it and Kenyans should wait for the day he will declare his gender identity.
“I want people to stop assuming my sexuality. There is no one I have talked to about my sexuality, no one knows, so let it stay that way. Then there is this one thing when you shoot a video with someone all of a sudden you are dating them, people should stop insinuating and wait for people to speak,” said Kinuthia.
He also said after going viral for the wrong reasons, he lost a house he was to move into because the landlord did not want him in his house. “The house I was moved into, they cancelled their contract and returned by deposit after the story of eating fare went viral.”
In September last year, the content creator denied claims that he was arrested for posing as a woman and acquiring money under false pretences. Kinuthia’s photos were shared on Facebook with claims that he had ‘eaten fare’ worth Sh344,000 set aside for his two-way flight ticket, shopping and a brand new phone. “Justin Kioko, a resident of Machakos is in police custody for obtaining money through pretence. The 31-year-old allegedly received Sh344,500 via M-Pesa. The money was to cover a two-way ticket, shopping and for her to buy a brand new phone,” he said.
Kinuthia disputed the claims, clarifying that he is not from Machakos further denying any association with the story. “I’m not associated in any way with that story 1. I’m not called Justin Kioko. I am Kelvin Kinuthia 2. I’m not from Machakos in any way or the other 3. I’m not a Kamba am a kikuyu so guys please I’m not associated with that story. Thank you all who have dm me and called me to ask if I am okay. I’m fine and well. Thanks guys,” he wrote.
