MR LENNY’S FATHER LAID TO REST AT LANG’ATA CEMETERY

Musician Mr. Lenny’s father has been laid to rest at Lang’ata Cemetery.

The burial took place on October 8, “We lay our dad to rest tomorrow, Tuesday, 8th October. The funeral service will be held at the Montezuma Chapel from 10:00 a.m., followed by the burial at Lang’ata Cemetery. We are very grateful for your support. Be blessed,” he stated.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Lenny thanked everyone who supported them throughout his father’s illness and subsequent passing. “It has been a very difficult journey for him and for the family, but many people came through for us in these tough times. We don’t even have the right words to thank everyone. You have done a fantastic job and have all been a big blessing to us,” he shared.

He offered prayers of blessing to those who stood by the family during their time of need. “May the Almighty God bless you individually in everything you endeavor to do. May all your cups overflow always, may you have the best health ever, may your families be blessed, and may you never lack in any way. We are humbled, grateful, and truly, truly thankful to everyone. God bless you abundantly. It is well.”

His father passed away on  September 29, 2024, after battling multiple health complications. In an emotional statement, Mr. Lenny shared details of his father’s deteriorating health over the past year, leading up to his passing due to organ failure. “Our dad has been unwell for the better part of this year, struggling with schizophrenia, high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney failure, and an enlarged prostate,” Mr. Lenny wrote. 

“He also suffered a stroke a few years back. However, two months ago, he had a severe heart attack and was admitted to the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) private wing,” he added.
