ESTHER PASSARIS CALLS FOR THE ARREST OF PASTOR NG’ANG’A AFTER GANG RAPE CONFESSION

Nairobi County Woman Representative, Esther Passaris, has issued a public appeal to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to arrest and investigate Pastor James Ng’ang’a over a shocking confession made during a recent sermon.

He appeal follows a video circulating online in which Pastor Ng’ang’a, during a live ‘kesha’ crusade in Maili Tatu, Meru County on Friday, October 3, graphically confessed to participating in the gang rape of a woman with eight other men in his past.

In her statement, Passaris said, “It is not a sermon; it is a criminal confession. It should have been flagged instantly, and the pastor picked up for questioning by the authorities. The pastor did make that confession; he should surrender himself to the police, name the eight others involved, and help deliver justice for the survivor.”

She stressed that a confession to a violent crime, regardless of when or where it is made, demands immediate investigation by law enforcement. “The DCI must act swiftly to verify the video, protect the victim, and uphold the rule of law,” Passaris added.

In the viral video, Pastor Ng’ang’a is heard stating, “I came from jail, I was poor, I was a thief. I was caught with a gun and stayed in remand for two years. There was a time we made a big mistake, we raped one woman eight men like a dog. We left her there. When Jesus frees you, you are free, I came out of prison free, I stopped smoking bhang. I started being blessed and you will be blessed too.
