GEOFFREY MOSIRIA REASSIGNED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE IN SAKAJA’S CABINET RESHUFFLE
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has unveiled a major reorganisation of his cabinet, reassigning several Chief Officers in a move aimed at improving efficiency and service delivery within the county government.
The reshuffle, which the Governor stated was conducted under the authority of Section 45(5) of the County Governments Act, 2012, sees key figures moving to new roles.
Notable changes include the transfer of Geoffrey Mosiria, who previously served as the Environment Chief Officer, to now lead the department of Citizen Engagement and Customer Service. He is succeeded by Hibrahim Otieno, who moves from his post in charge of Medical Facilities.
Other reassignments are: Clement Rapudo shifting from City Culture, Arts, and Tourism to head the Smart Nairobi docket. Zipporah Mwangi taking over Rapudo’s former role in City Culture, Arts, and Tourism.
Godfrey Akumali being moved from the Business and Hustler Opportunities department to the Housing and Urban Renewal department. Wilson Gakuya appointed to lead the Digital Economy and Start-Ups sector.
