ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB HONOURS RAILA ODINGA WITH SPECIAL MEMORABILIA 

Arsenal Football Club has paid tribute to former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga with a commemorative memorabilia parcel delivered to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party offices.

The parcel, which was dispatched from London via Soccer Reality to Nairobi, was addressed to ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale, a known Arsenal fan. Etale received the delivery, though it had reportedly arrived at the party’s postal address as far back as January.

“This parcel was sent to me in January, but it has taken quite some time for the post office to notify our office,” Etale explained while unveiling the item.

The memorabilia bears a special inscription: “Arsenal Remembers Right Honourable Raila Amolo Odinga,” honouring the veteran politician’s allegiance to the North London club.

Etale described Odinga as a “die-hard Arsenal Football Club fan,” adding that the gesture from the Premier League side acknowledges the former Prime Minister’s passion for the team.

Upon receiving the item, Etale announced his intention to pass it on to Mama Ida Odinga. “It is a memorabilia for Raila Amolo Odinga, and I will look for Mama Ida to give her this booklet. It’s no longer mine. It is in memory of Raila Amolo Odinga, my former boss,” he said.

An emotional Etale thanked Arsenal for remembering Odinga through the gesture. “Thank you, Arsenal, for remembering your fan number one, Raila Amolo Odinga, through another fan in the name of Philip Etale. Arsenal forever, Gunner forever,” he concluded.
