Kenyan musician Arrow Bwoy has officially called for a rematch with Uganda’s Shakib Lutaaya following their highly anticipated boxing match at Vurugu 2, where Shakib secured victory by technical knockout.

In a statement shared across his social media platforms, he conceded defeat but made it clear that the rivalry is far from over. The musician acknowledged that Shakib was the better man on the night but believes the fans across East Africa deserve to see the rivalry settled properly, with both fighters fully prepared and at their best. He officially requested a rematch to be held in Kampala, Uganda, on a bigger stage with better preparation for both combatants.

Arrow Bwoy revealed that the first fight was his debut in the ring after only 20 days of training, a factor he believes contributed to the outcome. “Respect to Shakib for the victory in our first encounter. He was the better man on the night. But I believe the fans deserve to see this rivalry settled with both fighters fully prepared and at their best,” he stated.

He appealed directly to the fans, asking whether they would like to see the rematch happen in Kampala. “To the fans in Uganda, Kenya, and across East Africa would you like to see the rematch? Kampala. Bigger stage. Better preparation. Same warriors,” he added, signing off with his signature phrase, “Stay active and sharp like an arrow.”

As of now, Shakib as not yet responded to the rematch request, but the call-out has set social media ablaze with speculation and anticipation.
