Pauline Njoroge Celebrates Supportive Partner Charles Wairumbi
Pauline Njoroge has praised her partner, Charles Wairumbi, for his support of her career.
Taking to social media, the communications strategist shared, “Having a supportive partner in your corner who cheers you on, reassures you and reminds you to keep going even when the going is tough, makes all the difference.” The public appreciation comes after Njoroge formally introduced Wairumbi during her 40th birthday celebrations in September 2025, where the couple appeared together in matching outfits.
The former Jubilee Party Deputy Organising Secretary, who recently resigned from the party after 14 years to align with the Linda Mwananchi movement, has been traversing Nairobi’s constituencies as part of her “Pauline Njoroge Mtaani” grassroots engagement initiative . She officially launched these meet-the-people tours in February 2026, with stops in Kasarani and Roysambu constituencies among others.

Njoroge, who has positioned herself as a challenger to incumbent Governor Johnson Sakaja, saying that her leadership approach would be anchored in listening to residents first before drafting any policy agenda .
“Too often, we as leaders assume we know what the people want. Yet frequently, we end up operating at cross-purposes with the very citizens who elected us, leading to disappointment as priorities change, benefits are redirected, and essential services are denied,” she stated during a recent engagement forum .
“As I present myself for leadership in Nairobi County under a new deal for the city, my principles are anchored in people-centred, service-delivery focused governance. It is a leadership that will restore dignity to our residents and place their daily needs and realities at the heart of decision-making,” she added .
She joins a growing list of aspirants vying to unseat Governor Sakaja in the upcoming elections, including Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Embakasi Central MP James Gakuya and businesswoman Agnes Kagure.
