VERA SIDIKA BLASTS COMEDIAN AKUKU DANGER FOR USING HER NAME FOR CLOUT

By  |

Socialite Vera Sidika has responded to claims that she refused to clear a Sh5,000 debt owed to comedian Akuku Danger.

In a series of statement on her Instagram page, she denied knowing the comedian, further accusing him of looking for fame using her name. “I just discovered there are professionals at lying. Some names I never knew they existed till today. Someone just mentioned it to me and told me they’re desperately looking for fame because their mates became famous from some comedy show unlike him. Now their career is ‘professional liars’. I’ve never in my life talked to any human being called chicken. The only chicken I know is inghoko (hen)…. I didn’t even know that name till today. Congratulations I’ve finally known you exist,” wrote Vera

The socialite further blasted Akuku Danger for chasing clout with nothing tangible to market, also slamming him for ranting over his clients on social media. “Chasing clout with nothing tangible to push. If you think you are marketing your business, your’e wrong. Nobody would ever want to work with someone who runs their mouth to the media over their clients. For your lies to the believable, you could have waited for 2-3 days… Who starts blurbing 12 hours after the event claiming they’re not paid. Knowing well no event person would even have the energy to wake up the next day. You need to fabricate better lies,” she added.

Vera also stated that the comedian demanded for extra money after arriving at the venue and realised how lavish the gender reveal party was. “It’s bad manners to ask for a figure, get paid in full seconds later, even before you go anywhere. You get to the location and the cars in the parking lot shocks you. The decor on ground is on another level so you start making excuses on why you want to be added 5k on top. That was not anywhere in agreement with my PA. If you wanted extra cash you would have said or you get a tip if you did a good job. I’ve never in my life paid anyone exact amount if they delivered well. No matter how small their business is. I always tip them well,” she concluded.
