‘I’M SINGLE, SOBER AND CELIBATE’ JANET MBUGUA DISCLOSES

Media personality Janet Mbugua, has opened up about her current season of life.

Janet revealed that she has been single, sober and celibate for over a year, a decision she made for her personal growth. “There’s so much that I had to pause to really fully hear myself before I can make pretty big life decisions,” she said.

Adding, “I’m in a season of single, sober and celibate. Sometimes you make certain decisions in life to self-preserve. It’s not because it’s fun, a flex, or a popular thing to do. It’s because it’s a necessary part of navigating a very personal, complex journey while still living.”

She also talked about her stance on safe and consensual s*x, which she believes is a beautiful and integral part of life. “I’m a proponent of safe and consensual s*x as a beautiful thing, and I can say that even as somebody who’s navigating my faith. My celibacy is coming from a place of healing. I don’t know when I will be back to doing things,” she added.
