GOSPEL MUSICIAN SARAH K AND HUSBAND MARK 34 YEARS OF MARRIAGE

Award-winning gospel music minister Sarah K and her husband Samuel Mwangi are celebrating their 34th wedding anniversary. 

The singer took a moment to publicly honour their lasting union, “Happy 34th wedding anniversary to us,” Sarah K wrote. “34 years together, and we’re still going stronger. Through every high and low, we’ve stood by each other, growing, loving, and building a life full of memories. Cheers to us, to our journey, and to many more beautiful years ahead.”

Mwangi, is a pastor in the Anglican Church. When they got married in 1992, he was immediately posted to the Korogocho slums, where they lived for four years. Sarah was only 21 when they got married. “I knew that I was joined to this man and this was my life, but at the back of my mind I was expecting to go back to my mother.

I remember two or three weeks after our honeymoon, I went back home and I could not hold back my tears. I was happy with him and loved him, but the newness of the experience was overwhelming,” she said in a past interview.
