FURAHA CITY FESTIVAL: DIAMOND’S MANAGER CALLS OUT WILLY PAUL FOR UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR BACKSTAGE
Diamond Platnumz’s manager Sallam SK, has called out Kenyan artist Willy Paul following an incident at the Furaha City Festival. Sallam accused Willy Paul of unprofessional behaviour, disrupting the event’s flow and attempting to overshadow fellow performers, including Zuchu.
In a statement, Sallam detailed the events, stating, “I think it should reach a point where artists should invest hard in their work. Faking stories for fame and forcing beef to trend does not help. Willy Paul needs to say the truth.”
According to the manager, Willy Paul started arguing with Zuchu, “He was arguing with Zuchu and blocked her way to the stage, claiming he had been there from the beginning and deserved to perform. However, when it was his time to get on stage, he refused, saying he was the headliner and wanted to close the show.”
But things escalated when Willy Paul realised Kenyan artistes were being cheered, “After seeing his colleagues were being cheered, he forced his way onto the stage during Zuchu’s time.”
Sallam went on to clarify that the incident had nothing to do with Diamond failure to perform, “This has nothing to do with Diamond’s absence, which was a matter between us and the event organizers. Bless up,” he concluded.
