Chameleone’s Son Abba Marcus  Arrested in Minnesota for Domestic Assault

Abba Marcus Mayanja, son of legendary Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone, has been arrested in Edina, Minnesota, on a misdemeanor domestic assault charge following the end of his relationship with his pregnant girlfriend.

The 20-year-old was booked on August 14 and is being held on $10,000 bail, according to Minneapolis Safety and Crime Alerts. His arrest came shortly after he publicly accused his girlfriend of infidelity and emotional manipulation in since-deleted Instagram posts.

“I’m finally done with this abusive ass girl,” he wrote, while also claiming that he had been provoked and was known to be “peaceful unprovoked.”

Abba is among five children from Chameleone’s former marriage to Daniella Atim, who relocated to the US after their highly publicised separation.
